چکیده

My contribution considers the problem of real distinction between mind and body its resulting consequences regarding unity human being against background a debate on Cartesianism Hungarian intellectuals Early Modernity. In his Syllabus (1685), János Pósáházi censured 32 Cartesian assertions criticized frequently Descartes’ conceivability argument for distinction. His criticism involved terminological innovation introducing complete ideas besides clear distinct ones in Replies as criteria from conceivability. Pósaházi’s censure was refuted same year text titled Vindiciae written by an author whose identity we are not aware today. The paper presents anonymous author’s defense body-mind relationship.
